U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement announced it arrested an “Afghan illegal alien” with a criminal record in Rochester. ICE said it arrested Waheed Allah Mohammad during a targeted operation on New York’s Day.
Multiple posts on Facebook and TikTok have stated that undercover or plain clothes ICE agents are walking around the farm show and staying at local hotels without naming a source for their information.
“ICE should be disbanded,” Texas Rep. Joaquin Castro told The Bulwark. “It has become a completely rogue operation arresting U.S. citizens, engaged in racial profiling, and deporting people out of the country without telling their families where they’re sending them.”
